Unicolour Printing Ink Manufacturers Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated under the Company's Act 1965 and established at 13 December 1974. It is today one of the most dynamic and progressive printing ink manufacturing companies in Malaysia with a strong management team and a reputation for quality, durability and reliability built up over 26 years.

Unicolour manufactures a broad spectrum of high quality inks and coatings for all the major printing processes, all our products are renowned for their color, clarity, rub resistance and printability.

Pigments are colored organic materials in the form of insoluble powders, which are mixed with various resins, solvents and additives to manufacture various types of printing inks.

Organic Pigments - Used for process-color printing because they form transparent films. Most are derivatives of aromatic hydrocarbons benzene, naphthalene or anthracene.The pigment molecules contain chromophoric groups such as =C=NH, -CH=N-, and -N=N-. The electrons in the double bonds selectively absorb some visible wavelengths and change energy levels. 

The color results from the wavelengths not absorbed. Recall the subtractive color theory.
